Rest In You

(by Hillsong)

Your faithfulness endures always
The mountains fall, and reason fails
And You calm the raging seas
And You calm the storms in me
Again

All I know is I find rest in You
All I know is I find rest in You

My heart will praise throughout the night
Where singing seems a sacrifice
And You calm the raging seas
And You calm the storms in me
Again

Your grace is all I need
Your grace is all I need

Is it so bad not to know all you want to know about your future?
Is it so important that God makes it clear for you what's coming?
Is it too hard to see that where God wants you right now is simply for you to BE and not DO?
No.
No, it's not.

So there are times when I forget. Forget the moments when I had settled the matter with self and with God. Forget I had embraced theologia crucis. Forget I had prayed, "My home is where You want me, O Lord".

God told Abram (read: me): Leave...for a land that I will show you.
So Abram (read: I) left.
God appeared.
Abram (read: I) built an altar.
He (read: I) moved on from there...and pitched his (read: my) tent...built an altar there and prayed to God.
Abram (read: I) kept moving...

All I need to know is I want to find rest in You.
